With sandy beaches stretching more than 43.4 miles this charming city offers bucket loads of natural beauty, friendly locals and a lively culture.

Renowned for its golden sand and turquoise waters Alanya is an affordable destination particularly during May-June and September-October.

And Travel Supermarket has named Alanya as the cheapest all‑inclusive destination for summer 2025.

Experts at TravelSupermarket HQ say Alanya is the number one spot offering the most cost-effective getaway. Brits can bag a seven-day, all-inclusive family break at only £581.

Three-star hotels average around £27 per night, while four-star hotels average at just £42 per night. A price of a pint is just £1.09 on average whilst a mid range bottle can cost around 310 Turkish Lira which is just £6.15.

    An ice cream only costs 69p at the Turkish resort, while a Spritz comes in at £3.43 and a bottle of water at 37p, and renting a sun lounger will only set you back around £6.44 per day.

    There is also a cable car that runs near a mediaeval castle and offers stunning views of the coast. The Damlatas Caves are located just behind the beach, and they have a rather interesting claim to fame.

    The caves are also known as the "asthma-cure cave" as many believe it’s capable of curing respiratory complaints, including asthma.

    No trip here would be complete without visiting Hadrian's Gate, a historical gate in Antalya, built in 130 AD to commemorate Emperor Hadrian's visit.

    It is made up of three arches that are the same width and height. It is about 26.2 feet tall and on either side of the gate stand two large towers.
