My Story
🌊 How It All Started
My love affair with the ocean started when I was just a kid. I grew up near the coast, and while other kids were playing soccer, I was at the beach, watching the surfers and windsurfers with wide eyes.
I got my first windsurfing lesson when I was 16, and I was terrible at it! I fell off more times than I can count, swallowed half the ocean, and got the worst sunburn of my life. But that feeling of gliding over the water, powered by nothing but wind… I was hooked.
✈️ The Travel Bug
As I got better (and fell off less), I started dreaming of surfing in exotic locations. My first big trip was to the Caribbean, and it changed everything. I realized that windsurfing wasn’t just a sport—it was a passport to adventure.
Since then, I’ve chased waves across three continents, made friends in beach towns around the world, and learned that the windsurf community is the most welcoming family you could ask for.
💻 Why I Started This Blog
After years of friends asking for travel tips, gear recommendations, and begging me to teach them how to windsurf, I realized I had a lot to share. But more than that, I wanted to create a space where people could discover that the windsurf lifestyle is about so much more than just the sport.
It’s about sunrise sessions before work. It’s about the friends you make in the lineup. It’s about exploring coastal towns, trying local foods, and collecting memories instead of things. That’s what I want to share with you.
